About Me

As a Registered Nurse, licensed in California, Texas, and Hawaii, I have provided direct patient care and nurse management to both adults and children from diverse backgrounds in settings that include Medical-Surgical, Palliative Care, Home Care, and Hospice.

With over 45 years of nursing experience, working with a broad range of health care entities, I have witnessed an increasing need for patients and their families to have assistance with understanding the medical system. Frequently, a patient may see multiple healthcare providers, undergo numerous diagnostic procedures and treatments as well as have multiple medications prescribed.

As a Nurse Healthcare Advocate, I am able to accompany you and your loved ones to medical appointments to assist with interpreting medical results, advice, services, and treatment options. I will assist with communication to and from you and your medical care team in addition to cross-provider communication. I can review and explain test results and healthcare choices in a language that you can understand,  providing you the ability to make the best choice for your care.
